Trash Bash 2024 A Huge Success!
The multi-site cleanup effort all throughout Brevard County was held April 6 and the results were amazing.
Total Volunteers – 670
Total pounds of trash – 27,137
WINNERS – Most Volunteers
Melbourne: 267 volunteers
Cocoa: 193 volunteers
Most Trash Collected
Cocoa: 16,474 lbs.
Melbourne: 5713 lbs.
Thank you to all of our volunteers who came out to help clean up our community last weekend during Trash Bash! Your dedication is truly inspiring. Let’s keep up the great work!

Hot Yoga on the Island Merritt Island for a beach clean up
KBB’s Litter Quitter program, in partnership with the Brevard Zoo, aims to reduce or eliminate plastics and polystyrene foam in Brevard County businesses. Volunteers are needed to recruit businesses, distribute marketing materials and explain the program.
