Building a More Beautiful Brevard Contest
An annual contest which recognizes businesses for exceptional building/landscaping
practices. Nominations come from the community at large in the categories
listed below. A county -wide panel of expert judges volunteer to
evaluate the nominees and determine the winners.

Building a More Beautiful Brevard Contest
The 2011 Building A More Beautiful Brevard Contest accepted
nominations for any local public or commercial properties that are outstanding
in the beauty they have added to our community in the past year.
Sponsored by the Florida Today newspaper and Keep Brevard Beautiful,
the contest recognized any nominated property beautified between
June 2010 and June 2011, in the following categories:
New Structure, Major Renovation (Exterior Only)
New Major Landscaping, Landscape Maintenance/Upkeep
Volunteer judges chose winners from the north, central and south
sectors of Brevard County using guidelines based on design, plant
selection, appropriate use of materials, and overall appearance.
Deadline for submitting nominations was September 9, 2011. Nomination
